Abstract


Guidance and counseling services in schools and educational institutions require professional standards supported by professional ethical guidelines. The Code of Ethics published by the Indonesian Guidance and Counseling Association (ABKIN) serves as the basis for counselors to provide professional, ethical, and quality-oriented services. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to improve the understanding and application of the ABKIN Code of Ethics among guidance and counseling teachers and school counselors so that guidance and counseling services become more qualified. The method used is a pre-test and post-test design with professional ethics training for 40 participants. The results showed an increase in the code of ethics comprehension score from an average of 65.2 (pre-test) to 83.5 (post-test). The discussion describes how increased ethical understanding influences service behavior and provides recommendations for strengthening the culture of ethics in guidance counseling services. In conclusion, the active implementation of the ABKIN Code of Ethics can contribute significantly to improving the quality of guidance counseling services in educational institutions.
