Abstract

This community service program aims to implement multimodality-based English language learning at Bustanul Ulum PAUD KOBER as a solution to the problem of conventional learning, which is often monotonous and lacks active participation from children. This activity comprises six stages: planning, needs analysis, training planning, training implementation, evaluation, and report preparation. The program is implemented through three 45 minute learning sessions, integrating verbal mode (verbal instructions and interactive dialogue), gestural mode (body movements), and audio mode (thematic songs such as One Little Finger and Animal Friends as well as interactive audio instructions). The program involved 23 kindergarten students at Bustanul Ulum PAUD KOBER. The results showed a significant improvement in the children's English skills. Students are able to pronounce body part vocabulary, name animals, and respond to audio instructions with appropriate movements. After three sessions, 93% of children were able to sing songs while performing movements independently. The program also successfully transformed teachers' pedagogical practices from a teacher-centered to a student-centered approach. Recommendations for development include increasing the frequency of meetings, expanding the range of learning themes, providing ongoing mentorship for teachers, and establishing a digital repository of multimodal learning media to ensure the program's long-term sustainability
