Focus and Scope
The aim of the Journal of Community Service in Health (JCSH) UMPRI is to disseminate conceptual ideas and community service activities that have been carried out in the field of health. JCSH UMPRI specifically focuses on the main issues in the development of science and practice in community health services, including: • Midwifery: services, education, health promotion for mothers and children, reproductive health, as well as prevention and management of maternal and neonatal health problems. • Nursing: community nursing care, family nursing, gerontological nursing, and innovations in community-based nursing services. • Physiotherapy: promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative efforts to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities, including the development of appropriate technology in physiotherapy. • Medical Laboratory Technology: community-based health screening, laboratory examinations, prevention and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and education on the use of laboratory technology. • Medical Record and Health Information: health data management, medical record digitalization, and community education related to health literacy based on data. • General health fields: health education, empowerment, training, program development, application of appropriate technology, and other activities that support the improvement of community health status.
